International Weedbusters

Weedbusters was first developed in Australia. It started as Weed Awareness Week in Queensland in 1994. In 1995 this became Weedbuster Day, with over 3000 Queenslanders participating at events throughout the State. In 1997 national Weedbuster Week was launched with encouragement and support from all State and Territory Governments and the Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Weed Management Systems.

The 1997 Weedbuster Week was considered successful and continues to run as a national program annually in the second week of Octoberhttp://www.weedbusters.info/
