This group started in June 2009, and aims to control weeds at special forest remnants in Nelson and Tasman.

So far there have been 17 site visits.

On average, 7 outings per year.

4-10 people per outing.

35 people have been out at least once.

Work on 7 sites at any one time.

Have finished at 2 of them, so have taken on more sites = 9 sites in total. 7 of these are QE2 covenant sites.

118 person 'days' of work done x c4 hrs/day = 472 hrs of work.
