This group offers regular working bees/workshops raising, planting and releasing native trees, and donating time and plants to community projects whether on public or private land. The group also provides education about weed eradication and prefer to use basic hand pulling methods, avoiding the use of herbicides. This volunteer based group are conservation champions for our natural heritage readily educating and sharing knowledge with the community. The group is passionate about restoring the health of our environment, and basically evolved through their passion for the land and drive to make things happen. They have made widespread contributions in our region, notably through education in our schools and our community and through their donations to community restoration projects. They do so much on very little and should be acknowledged for their contribution.
