Friends of Barrett Bush Start Date: 9am - Sunday, May 05, 2013 End Date: 12 noon - Sunday, May 05, 2013 Barrett Bush is an area of lowland podocarp forest 6kms from the Dinsdale roundabout in Hamilton. A group has been meeting regularly since 1995 to remove privet and other exotic weeds and replant with natives. As well as removal of privet and restoration of natives, we have added to the bush by the purchase of approximately 1.3ha of land for protection as scenic reserve.
We meet on the 1st Sunday of the month, from 9am to noon.

Bring along gloves and sturdy footwear, other tools provided as needed.
